Practice Management on Embodia - Part 2: Scheduling
There are 3 ways a practitioner or clinic admin can cancel a consult.
1. From the consult page, scroll to the bottom of the page and click on the Cancel consult button:
2. From the calendar page, click on the event in the calendar, and then on the Delete icon:
3. From the consult or the calendar page, select a status that "Cancels consult". You can learn more about statuses here. From the calendar page, you can also click on the Edit icon under the Notes column to add additional private notes.
When a consult is cancelled, the consult details table on the consult page will include a new row noting the cancellation and how Embodia will treat this consult. By default, cancelled consults will be visible to patients when they sign in to their patient portal and will be included in the clinic's internal reporting. You can change the default behaviour by clicking on the Edit icon.
